1. Documents of less than 1000 Chinese characters are calculated as 1000 characters; documents of more than 1000 characters are calculated as the actual number of characters.

2. For translation, Chinese to a foreign language, a foreign language to Chinese, the pricing is made on the number of Chinese characters involved. The counting of the characters is made by the "characters" indicator of the word statistics function of MS WORD 2000. For translation between foreign languages, pricing is made on the number of the words of the source language.

3. Documents with urgent time limit will entail extra charges to be decided by the nature of the documents.

4. If the source document is highly specialized, a surcharge will be added; the actual percentage is to be decided by the nature of the document. The surcharge can varies between 5% to 25% of the standard price listed above, after negotiations regarding a particular case.
